Telemedicine Consultations Subacute Care
The telemedicine program at Buffalo Cardiology and Pulmonary Assocites is a program set up to perform electronic consultations with patients in rural areas.
BCPA has partnered with Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Gowanda, New York, to provide cardiac and pulmonary consultative services for patients who are residents of this facility.
This service allows the patient to remain in the facility and have the physician come to them electronically. It provides to rapid access to specialty services, saves in transportation costs and hassle, and creates a environment where the patient, family and whole health care team are are available to develop the plan of care and monitor results.
On-Line Care
Buffalo Cardiology and Pulmonary Associates also offer on-line care through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Western New York. This allows patients access to schedule a visit and electronically speak with one of our physicians. The web site to access this is www.bcbswny.com.
